Dead Sea Natural Acne Treatment

Before my first pregnancy, I told my husband I was going to Israel to visit with my friend who was studying at a university in Jerusalem. My friend and I toured around on the bus system and found ourselves at the Dead Sea. If you’ve ever had the privilege of spending a day slathering dead sea mud all over your body and hair, and floating in the salt water, you know that this is a good day.
That was my first experience with dead sea mud. Having worked on figuring out a successful way to rid blackheads and searching for a natural acne treatment, I started rummaging through my cupboard because I knew I had the most recent package of mud sealed still in a ziplock bag. I started using it on my blackhead area – which is around my nose. This is where under a magnifying mirror, I could see the culprits and the unsightly pores that make me agree with Rhoda on the Mary Tyler Moore show – that looking in a magnifying mirror is like looking at moon craters on your face.
I’ve been finding that the blackheads are less noticeable using this twice a week. I’ve been following up with some splashes of hot water mixed with a few spoonfuls of apple cider vinegar, to restore the Ph balance.
I want to give you an idea of the reviews out there regarding dead sea products as a successful natural acne treatment. The Acne Be Gone product line by Adovia Mineral Skin Care, is getting really good reviews. People who have been using expensive and harsh products have been finding maddening success after all these years with this product. Other people are finding the products in general in this skin care line are just fabulous for their acne scars, closing pores, providing an even skin tone that they have not had for years, wrinkles are diminished, etc. I’ve been going all over the net looking up this product.
Some facts:
- dead sea water contains 35 percent minerals per litre of water.
- at least 21 different minerals that help with psoriasis, eczema, joint problems and water retention.
- Celebrities that use dead sea skin care products – Julianne Moore and Susan Sarandon, Madonna and Kristin Davis.
- change your pillow case nightly until the acne has cleared up so bacteria does not spread.
Review Summaries:
- after years of using various soap bars and having ugly acne, which only antibiotics would temporarily relieve, she has clear skin.
- a lady’s daughter who had acute acne on her face and back, and had no real success in clearing it up, was almost completely cleared on her back in three weeks, and her face is now clear.
- it really lived up to its name.
- in one month her skin cleared up, after using every other the counter product there was unsuccessfully.
- having used Proactive and so many others that did not help, and wasting mega dollars on products, her skin cleared up for the first time.
- lots and lots of positive reviews for all kinds of Dead Sea products.
It makes me realize I could have been sitting on a minefield of natural beauty products that I just ignored, with the base of it all sitting in my cupboard.
I’ve included one source here for Adovia Dead Sea products as Adovia has the Acne Be Gone product line.
