By now you have likely heard and seen of Burt’s Bees products. I’m not here to advocate for all their products. For example, their lip balm with pomegranate oil does not seem to do much for my lips except make them smell sensational. Burt’s Bees has developed some products precisely for acne, and there is one I am focusing on. The Herbal Blemish Stick has Willowbark, which is the natural form of salicylic acid, which as you probably know by now also, salicylic acid is used in many acne treatments. In fact, they have so many natural ingredients crammed into their formula and none of the artificial, except 1 percent. Not a bad percentage.

Do you ever notice how natural ingredients make everything better sometimes – well not poison ivy, but Burt even has a remedy for that. However, the point here is that the reviews I’ve gone through, and I’ve gone through many, report really good things on this product – like fast results, amazing, worked when other acne products didn’t, was not drying for the most part, could be used under makeup and under moisturizer, worked on even deeper acne, and did I mention worked fast? Yes I did, and many others did frequently. Down-side – the smell needs adjusting to if you were hoping it would smell like flowers which are natural also. One person had a reaction – and claimed it made her skin worse. So I would do a small patch test and see what happens if you tend to have weird reactions to products.

The size is also handy in this age of travel restrictions via airlines. You could have one in your teensy tiny purse you are allowed to take on board, and not worry too much about the .30 ounces. In fact, if you are traveling to Haiti for aid work, for example, you could easily take one of these and find it the most convenient acne formula you ever threw in your backpack.
